Important Announcement

The walk planned for Saturday 13th March will now be taking place later in the year.

This will not affect any other activites or expeditions which we have planned

 

What is the Award:

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme designed for young people aged 14-25.

There are four areas to the Award:

  • Service - To encourage service to individuals and to the community.
  • Skill - To encourage the discovery and development of practical and social skills and personal interests.
  • Physical Recreation - To encourage participation and improvement in physical activity
  • Expedition - To encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery by preparing for and carrying out an adventurous journey as part of a Team

All expedition dates and information on kit required will be posted on this page. Plus photos from recent walks! So keeping checking this page.
