Careers In School

Enterprise Week

All Year 9s take part in Enterprise Week, Enterprise Week enables students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and put them into practise by running their own small business.

Keep an eye out for more information on our Y9 page.

Work Experience

All students, at the end of Year 10, have a one-week work experience placement. This is intended to be a general introduction to the world of work, not training for a future career. Pupils have the choice of either finding their own work placement or selecting one from the school list.

The full details of work experience and self placement are available on our Y10 page

Mock Interviews

During Year 11 all students will have a trial interview with a real employer. This is a realistic and valuable experience. It is excellent preparation for future employment.
