Places are available at conferences for students who want to enter the medical and legal professions.

These careers conferences give students the opportunity to:

  • Gain practical advice on getting into university and the profession of their choice
  • Talk to admissions tutors and university students
  • Find out about the career and its specialist fields
  • Speak with doctors or solicitors and barristers
  • Discuss their academic options, alternatives and related careers

The events are designed primarily for students in Year 11 (and Year 12).

Careers advisers, teachers, parents and other students are also welcome to attend.

UNIFORM - Year 11

Boys’ trousers; black standard school type trousers, made from wool / polyester material (not denim, cord or cotton, not combat style).

Girls’ trousers; black standard school type trousers, made from wool / polyester material. (not denim, cord or cotton, not combat style, not combined skirts / trousers).

Shirt (all years); standard white shirt with collar, made from cotton. Polo, pique or sports style shirts must not be worn.

Skirt; skirts of modest length – not more than a couple of inches above the knee and preferably with a pocket.

Shoes; plain black, sensible shoes (not trainers, sports shoes, boots, fashion shoes, or shoes with stack heels). Socks should be plain black or white in colour.

Make up; facial makeup, nail varnish, etc, should not be worn. Hair should be the natural colour.
