A visit from British Airways

Trinity’s Careers Lead, Ms Ripley, recently worked in partnership with Day One and the British Airways Pilot Recruitment Team to deliver an exciting aviation careers event for students.

A key highlight of the day was the arrival of a British Airways flight simulator, specially transported from Gatwick Airport. Students had the unique opportunity to take control of the simulator and experience the challenges and excitement of piloting an aircraft.

The event also featured sessions led by eight British Airways pilots and three cadets, who shared valuable insights into the aviation industry. Students learned about topics including fuel consumption, aerodynamic aircraft design, and what a typical day looks like for a commercial pilot.
