Music Updates
Director of Music, Mrs Madden, tells us more:
“We are delighted to share the fantastic news that Ini in Year 12 has secured a position in the prestigious Halle Youth Orchestra playing the tuba. He is the first Trinity student to do so, and we are so proud. The orchestra rehearses for 3 hours every weekend and performs at several high profile events in the city and beyond. Here are some words from Ini:
“Preparing for the audition took a lot of time and commitment to get the best possible outcome. This included working on the smallest details and staying after school to practice. I had some doubts along the way, but the support I had from my instrumental teacher, friends and family encouraged me to do well and it was all worth it. This is a very big opportunity for me, and I am very pleased to be able to work with the Halle Youth Orchestra this year. I am also looking forward to the side-by-side project next year where the youth orchestra will perform alongside the professional Halle Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall on 29th January 2023.”
