Show Debate

Prior to the GCSE Presentation Evening, our Debate Mate Team showcased their talents by performing a ‘show debate’ for the Archbishop of York, along with governors and members of staff in the audience. The two teams debated the following: “This house believes that this generation is more politically aware than any before it.”

There were persuasive arguments from both teams, and ultimately the debate was declared as a draw! Well done to all students who participated.
