Trinity Students Get Ready for Jr. NBA 3×3 Manchester
From PE Teacher, Mrs Fairley:
“Last month, Trinity High School was delighted to welcome the Jr. NBA 3×3 team for an exciting day of basketball activities as part of the promotion for the upcoming Jr. NBA 3×3 event in Manchester.
“More than 100 students took part in a series of fun and energetic coaching sessions, developing their basketball skills while learning more about the fast-paced and dynamic 3×3 format. To commemorate the occasion, every participant received a free Jr. NBA T-shirt.
“A particular highlight of the day was the opportunity for students to meet Commonwealth Games double gold medallist, Jamell Anderson. His inspiring stories and insights into elite sport motivated students and added to the excitement of the event.
“Trinity has built a strong partnership with the Jr. NBA programme over recent years. In 2025, six Trinity students were selected to attend the prestigious Jr. NBA 3×3 tournament in Trafalgar Square, London, representing the school at one of the UK’s premier basketball events.
“Following another highly successful visit from the Jr. NBA team, Trinity is looking forward to taking part in this year’s Manchester tournament and providing more students with the opportunity to represent the school on a national stage.”
