​​Sporting Update

It’s been a busy period of sports fixtures for Team Trinity with a couple of very good high points:

• Our Year 9 boys and girls took part in the Manchester indoor Athletics competition, putting on a fantastic display and managing to win 11 medals! Overall the girls finished 2nd and the boys finished 5th.
• Our Year 8 boys’ football team continued on their winning run by beating Sale Grammar in the Greater Manchester Cup with another superb display. They are now through to the quarter finals.
• Our Under 16 boys’ basketball team played a friendly game against Bristol Met on Friday afternoon. It was a great performance from both teams during a very tight game, but #TeamTrinity took the win, 35 – 32.
• Congratulations to Olivia and Lois who came 2nd and 1st respectively at a recent under 15s table tennis tournament at Our Lady’s RC High School. Zach and Caspar also came in the top eight of the tournament, with Caspar achieving 4th place

Well done to all our sporting students who represent Trinity so proudly.
