40th Anniversary

I had mentioned at the end of the last year that we are going to be celebrating our 40th year as a school this year. We don’t have extensive archives, but we were able to find a news article announcing that the merger of two existing C.E. schools in the city was due to be confirmed on February 2nd 1984. This would lead to the creation of ‘Trinity CE High School’ on the site where we currently stand. The clipping provides the history of the site just before Trinity opened – it was fascinating to learn that both Loreto College and the Royal Northern College of Music were based here in the years leading up to our founding!

The school is celebrating throughout the year and we will be making a special effort at all of our showcase events to portray the school in a wonderful light in this our 40th year!
