A-Level and BTEC Results

Huge congratulations to our Y13 students in sixth form who received their A-level and BTEC results on August 17th 2023. We were very pleased that the vast majority of students achieved the grades required for their first choice of university, many of whom are now preparing for new lives in cities around the UK – Glasgow, Lancaster, London, Liverpool, Bangor and Brighton as examples. Ten of our students are starting Degree Apprenticeships – these are highly sought after jobs where you are paid a salary and your fees for a university course. Favour has a life changing opportunity going to work for PwC in London.

One of the notable features of our sixth form is the number going into the healthcare professions, we have Daniel with 3 A* grades studying Medicine at the University of Manchester, our first student ever to be starting his Veterinary Science degree, and other students entering degree courses in Child Nursing, Midwifery, Mental Health Nursing, Physiotherapy, Optometry and Occupational Therapy to name a few! A significant number of students are going to study various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) qualifications and Law has also been extremely popular this year.

Well done to all our students, and a big thankyou to our sixth form team for supporting all of our students in achieving their really positive outcomes.
