A Level Success Stories!

Salman – Liverpool John Moores University – Business Management

Salman is a conscientious and hardworking young man who has achieved brilliant results and we are certain he will continue to thrive in his academic life. We wish him every success as he leaves Manchester to study at Liverpool John Moores University. Salman has also been awarded the Reading List Foundation Scholarship which gives him a £250 voucher to pay for his books at University. All the best Salman we are so proud of you!

 

Iram – University of Manchester – Adult Nursing

Iram has been our Head Girl for the last year and has worked so incredibly hard. She is conscientious, kind and considerate with a determined nature and lots of stamina! She will be PERFECT as a nurse; she leaves us to study Adult Nursing at the University of Manchester.

 

Luke – University of Bristol – Economics

Our head boy Luke has made us very proud this year. He culminates his studies with us by achieving outstanding results which have earned him a place the University of Bristol to study Economics. Luke will undoubtedly go far and we look forward to seeing what he will achieve next!

 

Mehrpouya – University of Bath – Electronic and Electrical Engineering

When Mehrpouya arrived in the UK from Iran he couldn’t speak English. In the space of just 2 years he has not only mastered the language but achieved outstanding A Level results including an A* in Maths. He will start his engineering course at Bath this Autumn and we wish him all the best!

 

Praise – Medicine – Keele University

Hard work and determination does pay off. Praise is living proof of that! Determined since childhood to study medicine, Praise has won a place to study at Keele. She leaves with our very best wishes and we wish her all the luck for the future.

 

Hannah – Natural Sciences – University of York

Following on from receiving the best GCSE results in the school back in 2018, Hannah has now achieved the best A Level results this year with a spectacular set of results in Biology, Chemistry and an A* in Geography! Well done Hannah – you are hardworking and conscientious and deserve all the success in the world!

 

Sandalia – University of Southampton – Marine Biology

Of course a champion swimmer will want to study something to do with water! Sandalia, our Deputy Head Girl is off to Southampton to study a different type of water – Marine Biology. A credit to our school, Sandalia achieved brilliant success as well as getting up at the crack of dawn to swim most mornings!

 

Imogen – Northern School of Contemporary Dance – Dance

Imogen has received an outstanding set of academic results, but that’s not all that meets the eye with this brilliant student! Imogen is an incredibly talented dancer who leaves us to study at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. We are so proud of you Imogen – a brilliant all-rounder!

 

 

Xabi – Royal Scottish Conservatoire – Music

The most incredible saxophonist, Xabi leaves us to study with the Royal Scottish Conservatoire. He was lucky enough to receive offers from most of the main music conservatoires in the country and took his pick! Well done Xabi, we wish you the very best!
