Act of Remembrance

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden: “Today is Armistice Day when we commemorate the end of fighting in the First World War and remember all who have died in wars. We also held special assemblies for all students focusing on prayers for peace in our world, with a performance of Amazing Peace by Maya Angelou by Year 10 drama students. The Brass Group accompanied the singing of the hymn Abide with Me and the Choir performed a beautiful song with these moving lyrics: If there is to be peace in this world, we must have peace in the nations and cities, peace between neighbours, peace in our home and in our hearts.”
