Archbishop of York Award
Course Director of KS3 RE, Ms Taylor, tells us more:
“Year 7 have been completing the Archbishop of York award in their RE lessons. This is a programme that supports students to become confident and resilient leaders who have compassion for their communities. As part of this, students have been tasked with completing three projects to support their personal development, the wider school and the community. Praise postcards have been written and distributed to staff as a way for students to share their gratitude to their teachers. Students have also designed ‘Unity Bricks’ to be displayed in classrooms to form a ‘Wall of Unity’, in support of our Trinity Together values. It has been delightful to see the hard work that students have put into their projects, and it is a privilege to see that their efforts as well as staff efforts can be recognised around school.”
