Aspiring Medics Success

Now in its 4th year, Dr Alnuamaani’s Aspiring Medics Program has seen 6 students leave us to study Medicine at University, one to study Dentistry and one at the Royal Veterinary College in London.  This year we have thirteen hopeful candidates in Year 13 awaiting interviews at some of the country’s top medical schools.  To support their progress, members of the school leadership and sixth form leadership team conducted a Mock “MMI” interview session last week. Students were challenged on their commitment to Medicine and Dentistry, their understanding of medical ethics, the challenges faced by the NHS, their teamwork, and communication skills. The students were fantastic, and we wish them all well in their real interviews later this month and in the new year.
