Mr Bryan gives us the latest sporting news for our basketball teams:

• Our boys’ KS4 basketball team were in action in the first round of the English Schools National Cup. We were up against tough opposition in Reddish Vale who made sure the match was very competitive and fast moving. Our boys showed their class and terrific team spirit, eventually winning 43 – 30.
• In the girls’ competition, our KS4 team were up against Helsby in the first round. Once again Team Trinity were in superb form winning 52 – 18 and moving smoothly onto round 2.
• Also, in basketball, our Year 9 boys had a tough match against regular rivals Wright Robinson in another fantastic match. Our boys improved as the game went on and by the end were comfortable winners 37 – 24
