Thank you to everyone who supported our recent half-price book fair. There was an excellent range of books to choose from and a lovely atmosphere in the LRB throughout the week. Thanks also to our student volunteers who supervised the fair. Look out for a selection of exciting new titles on the LRB shelves.

In other book news, Sam in Year 11 has been published in an anthology of poetry: Emerging Adults. Earlier this year, Sam won a place on a week long writers’ residential at Lumb Bank, West Yorkshire – yet another opportunity that arose thanks to our involvement with writing charity First Story. Emerging Adults collects together the work of the talented young people who were involved and we’re happy to have a copy in the LRB. Congratulations, Sam!
