Breakfast Meetings

Mr Cann (Head of KS4) has been chairing our series of ‘breakfast meetings’ over the last two weeks. The meetings start at 7:45, and we have about 35 minutes to discuss each individual from a particular form each day. We discuss the areas of attendance and punctuality, mock exam results and estimated grades. These estimated grades will be available for parents on the final Y11 report, to be issued before the February half term. Mr Cann and the Senior Tutor for Y11, Mr Carter, assign some students into ‘support groups’ with the aim of addressing aspects of student performance, and we are delighted that Dr Janet Buck started providing academic mentoring for a group of 40 students which started on Tuesday 24th January.
