Chester Zoo
Course Director of KS3 Science, Ms Walker, tells us about the trip to Chester Zoo earlier this term:
“On Friday 28th January, 47 of our Year 9 students attended a trip to Chester Zoo. Students explored many exhibits and attended an excellent interactive session where they learned about evolution. They examined skulls from different animals to determine what adaptations they each had, then designed their own animals that could survive in different habitats in Africa. A fantastic time was had by students and staff alike – students’ favourite animals were the cheetahs, orangutans and flamingos!”
