Christmas Appeal 2022 – Wood Street Mission

From Head of Springbok House, Ms Sussman: “Thank you to all those students, families, and staff that have contributed and supported in some way to help make this year’s Christmas Gift Appeal for Wood Street Mission so successful. Wood Street Mission is a charity located in Manchester city centre. This year’s mission was to help families struggling to provide for their children this Christmas. Wood Street offers a service to provide new toys and gifts, aged 0 – 14 years old, to families in need, to make sure they have something special to open on Christmas Day. Families who have been referred to Wood Street via a Social worker, a child’s school, a health visitor, or Support Worker, will visit from Manchester and Salford, to come and choose the gifts they would like to give their children from the selection donated by supporters like Trinity. As usual, Trinity has excelled itself in the generous donations we are making this year donating a total of 262 gifts.” Our thanks go to the House team for organising this initiative and to everyone who donated a gift.
