Christmas Music and Drama Showcase

On Wednesday 13th December, we were treated to a feast of festive music and drama by over 130 students who entertained a sell-out audience in our Drama Studio for this fantastic annual celebration of talent!

The show opened with the Stage Band, featuring some of our most senior musicians, playing some jazzy Christmas classics and was swiftly followed by Y7 Steel Pans giving their first ever concert at Trinity.

Other brilliant musical performances came from our Y8 steel pans, our training Guitar Ensemble in collaboration with Ukulele Club, Junior Woodwind Group and an amazing set of Band Skills songs from Y8-11, encouraging the crowd to sing along with tracks such as Feliz Navidad, Jingle Bell Rock, It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Merry Christmas Everyone.

Interwoven through the whole evening were fabulous short drama scenes devised and acted by the Year 7 Drama Club, and directed by Miss Ndreca, showing exactly how much talent we have here at Trinity. The scenes were clever, funny, thought-provoking, confidently performed and full of joy.

The finale was a perfect rendition of All I Want for Christmas is You by our Y10/11 Band Skills group which left us all on a high for the upcoming Christmas season. Thank to all the staff who helped the children perform so confidently, to all the parents and families who attended, and lastly, to all the children for giving us such a wonderful evening!
