Debate Mate

Last week, two teams of Trinity students took part in the Debate Mate Cup, a regional debating competition involving fifteen schools from across Greater Manchester.

After preparation and practice each week after school, the students’ well-structured and passionate debates led to both of our teams winning their final competitive debate of the year! One of our Year 8 students, Elise, also won a special award for showing the greatest debating improvement across students from all the Manchester schools in the programme.
