Early Help, Race and Equality Day
Director of Music, Mrs Madden tells us more:
“Over the half-term holidays, five talented Trinity Sixth Formers shared their time and musical gifts to contribute to Manchester Council’s Early Help, Race and Equality Day on 24th October, to mark Black History Month. Julie Heslop, Head of Manchester’s Early Help team, said, ‘We were really lucky that Lydia, Rose, Ruth, Jess and Hannah sang some beautiful gospel songs for us and helped celebrate with us for Black History Month. The girls stayed with us for the afternoon and their happiness, appreciation of the steelpans and involving staff in dancing brought joy to many people. You should be proud of your pupils for their confidence and ability to connect with the staff.’ Well done to our students!”
