Easter in Religious Education Lessons
From Head of Religious Education, Ms Bansal:
“This week, our KS3 students have been actively learning more about Holy Week and its significance to Christians. Students have been busy making palm crosses to mark Palm Sunday and have made Easter bunting and eggs to place in the Easter Garden. Our Easter Garden contains a range of items which are symbolic to Holy Week and has been used to help our students learn about Jesus, and how he died for us and rose into Heaven . Our Year 9 students were then treated to a chocolate Easter egg! In the top left photo, some students can be seen on our Green Roof with Year 9 Senior Tutor, Mr Carter.”
