Eucharist
In school last Friday 6th January 2023, the school celebrated our Epiphany Eucharist. We were privileged to have as our celebrant, Reverend Jo Jarrett from St Hilda’s in Firswood – Reverend Jarrett is a current Trinity parent as well as being a parent of a former Trinity student. Reverend Jarrett led a beautiful service and brought us a thought-provoking Epiphany reflection on the presence of Christ in our world and in our school community. Eucharists in school are celebrated twice each term and attendance for students in voluntary. You are invited to speak to your child about attending and participating in Eucharist. The dates for the Eucharists are available on the school’s website in the ‘About us/Chaplaincy’ section.
Epiphany: “manifestation, striking appearance” is an experience of sudden and striking realization. Epiphany celebrates the visit by the wise men to Jesus.”….And when they saw the child with his mother Mary, they knelt down and worshipped him” (Matthew 2:11).
Prayer: Christ, may we be guided by your light to discover your hope, and may we be ever searching for new discoveries in life which bring change to us, our communities and our world. Amen.
