Exploring Christianity Retreat

Earlier this month, a group of Year 7 students travelled to the Peak District for our Year 7 Exploring Christianity Retreat. The group spent Friday doing adventurous activities (climbing, abseiling, weaselling), before staying overnight at the beautifully-located Edale YHA. On the Friday evening and Saturday morning, the group enjoyed ‘Exploring Christianity sessions’, led by Revd Sarah Bradley from Holy Trinity Platt Church. And on Saturday the students and staff took a long and picturesque walk from Edale to Castleton, lunching at Mam Tor. The students had a fabulous time – here are just of few of their 3-word reflections ‘Fun, challenging, exciting’, ‘Exciting, fun, exhausting’ and ‘Crazy, amazing, relivable’.
