Face Coverings and Hand Sanitiser

We would like to remind parents about the importance of students having a face covering to wear in school. All students need to have a plain reusable face covering, or a supply of disposable ones, to use throughout the day. Face coverings are required to be worn by all students when moving around the school. This includes corridors and communal areas when social distancing is difficult to maintain. Face coverings are not required to be worn in the classroom or outside.
Hand hygiene is also of great importance, and all students are required to carry a small bottle of hand sanitiser as part of their equipment. We are selling 100ml bottles of hand sanitiser for £1 for students to purchase. All students who are entitled to ‘free school meals’ have had £1 put onto their accounts in order to purchase a bottle. There are also over 50 hand sanitiser dispensers around the school for students and staff to use.
