GCSE Results

In this week’s newsletter, we celebrate GCSE successes for our Year 11s and you can see above, we had many students delighted with their success. The central photo shows Esther with her mum as they reflected on her results – an incredible 9 Grade 9s achieved! For those new to the reformed grading system, a Grade 9 is effectively an A** – a remarkable achievement by Esther and the best results for an individual at Trinity since 2016. Of course, not everyone can achieve the highest grades and we celebrate achievement at all levels and all starting points. 5 students in the year scored an average of two grades higher than ‘reasonable expectations’ which is a fabulous achievement. Their secret of success: hard work in school and at home, listening carefully in class – and asking questions, and finally building great relationships with their teachers and their peers.  We are delighted that the majority of our ex Y11 students are able to progress to level 3 courses have chosen to stay at our Sixth Form.
