“Last month, we were delighted to welcome representatives from the Gideons to our Year 7 assembly. Bill Watson and Robert Wardlaw spoke to the students and offered them a New Testament as a gift, and, as you can see on the next page, many students were delighted to receive them.”
The Gideons are an organisation whose primary activity is distributing copies of the bible free of charge. The bibles are frequently seen in hotels, medical offices, schools, and as we learnt in assembly, prisons and military barracks.
