Happy half term!

We have had such an incredibly busy half term. Everyone will hopefully have the opportunity to refresh next week before we come back to a ‘mini reset’ in terms of certain standards. Form teachers and the pastoral team have done great work supporting families with uniform issues, so on Monday June 5th we expect everyone to be in full school uniform and not wearing any jewellery other than a pair of plain studs, no false eyelashes, no hats in school and everyone wearing a proper pair of school shoes. A team of staff led by Mr Westmoreland will be checking all students on arrival. We will also be ensuring that any mobile phones seen during the working day are confiscated as well as making sure students are using the toilet facilities properly and at the right times.

We are one of the leading schools in the city, a school with a modern curriculum and values that promote a culture of high standards and good relationships with all. I know I can count on you as parents and carers to make sure your children work with our ethos – with the school and home working together we can ensure the best outcomes for your child.
Happy half term!
