Harvest Collection

Head of Springbok House, Ms Sussman, tells us about the recent charitable House initiative: “Thank you to all those, students, families and staff that have contributed and supported in some way, to help make this year’s Harvest collection for the Cornerstone so successful. The Cornerstone is a charity in Manchester that runs a day centre providing services to vulnerable and disadvantaged adults, many of whom are homeless or facing homelessness. The collection was launched by house leaders in assemblies and a visitor from the Cornerstone explained how the charity supports one hundred people each day. The focus this year was on collecting tins of soup – we will report the total number of soup meals provided next week!”
