House Events – Trinity Rewards – Trinity Give Back Scheme

Mrs Clark, Head of Springbok House writes –

Last year, as a House team, we introduced the Trinity Give Back Scheme via our Trinity Credit Shop. This was a way to allow students to support more charities. A lot of the drive for this initiative came via the School Council.

Since the start of the Trinity Give Back Scheme, Satvik Jadhav from 8PSL, has donated 285 credits! In a recent interview with Satvik, he was asked what he liked about the Trinity Give Back Scheme and why he felt it was important to give to charity. He said, ”I think it is really im-portant that we treat each other with respect and help where we can. People who are in danger, or who have lost their homes and resources, need support. If I can help im-prove their lives a little bit by donating, that’s a good thing! I think every per-son can make a difference. I just want to help.”

This year, the charities that students can donate to, via the Trinity Give Back Scheme, are the Moroccan Earthquake Appeal, Young Minds and South-Central Foodbank, for the duration of the school Harvest collection.

Mr Tran, Head of Year 8, said ”I am proud that students are engaging with the rewards system and supporting our Trinity Together values of having empathy and compassion for others and living hope.”
