Last Week of Term
In the last week of term, celebratory events took place to mark the end of the school year. Some of the highlights are detailed below:
Year 10 Celebration of Progress This event saw Year 10s presented with their reports for the year, a certificate of progress and a pledge card, with students asked to make a ‘pledge’ for Year 11. We welcomed one of our governors, Prof Erinma Bell, who presented certificates to students who achieved Platinum awards and she also gave a motivational address to the audience.
Year 9 Graduation The end of KS3 was marked with a graduation ceremony and we were delighted to welcome our guest of honour, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Cllr Tommy Judge.
House Celebration On the final day of term, this year’s House winner was announced. In a special recording watched in form rooms, SPRINGBOK were declared champions!
