Lowry Theatre Trip

On Friday 13th January, a group of Y10 students visited The Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays to watch a production of An Inspector Calls, which is a Key Stage 4 text that they will study as part of their English Literature GCSE. The production was an exciting opportunity for our Y10 students to develop a pre-contextual understanding of the play, as well as enjoy it in live theatre before they study it later on in the school year.

The students fully immersed themselves in this theatre experience whilst developing their understanding of the plot and characters. Hopefully they will be able to apply to their understanding once they begin studying the play. Many thanks to the English team for arranging the experience.
