From Head of Year 13, Ms Hall: “Last weekend, 13 Sixth Formers had the opportunity to visit the highly renowned Manchester Cancer Research Centre on the Christie Hospital campus. Students heard from senior technicians and biomedical scientists in the field of Cancer Research and completed practical exercises in the state of the art laboratories on a range of topics relating to A-Level Science courses. Trinity students were one of two Sixth Form colleges invited into the lab to meet researchers and technicians at the forefront of drug treatment for cancer patients. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of putting their A-Level knowledge into practice.”
