Manchester Dogs Trust

Assistant Head of R.E, Miss Bansal, tells us about a recent initiative she has been working on with her form: “8NBA recently ran a bake sale with proceeds going to their chosen charity – Manchester Dogs Trust. Following this, I took 14 students to the Dogs Trust for a behind the scenes tour where we saw dogs being enriched in order to be rehomed. We also saw the national call centre where they get at least 300 calls a day from people who want to give their dog away, and then we did a workshop on the morality of using dogs in the military. The following day, staff from the Dogs Trust came into Trinity to deliver workshops to Year 7 and Year 8 on animal welfare and the important work the Dogs Trust do. “
