Mock exam results

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, our Year 11s were working very hard to consolidate all of their learning, skills and knowledge as they sat their mock GCSE exams. We were very pleased to see the mature and responsible way students approached the exams.
Last Friday then saw our students receiving their results in special ‘mock results day’ assemblies, led by the Head of KS4, Mr Cann, and Deputy Head, Mr Westmoreland. The hard work clearly payed off for lots of students, which was evident through the abundance of smiling faces, but students were also able to recognise that efforts must improve if they are to reach their full potential. GCSE results for 2020 will be announced on Thursday, 20th August, and with the support of school staff and parents/carers at home, we are confident that there will be much to celebrate on this date!
