One Education Music: Vocal Celebration

From Director of Music, Mrs Madden:

“Our Year 7 Singers and Ukulele Group made us so proud on 18th June when they performed in a fantastic vocal festival at the iconic Victoria Baths along with our friends from other Manchester high schools. Choirs from Didsbury High School, Wright Robinson, Loreto High, Parrs Wood and Trinity all joined together to lift their voices in song and celebration. Our Year 7s sang the powerful Something Inside So Strong and were then joined by ukuleles in a joyful rendition of Don’t Worry, Be Happy! Each choir performed their songs brilliantly and the whole show opened and closed with joint performances of uplifting classics, The Beatles’s Here Comes the Sun and Take That’s Never Forget. A great night was had by all and the students were all a credit to their school.”
