Pi Day

Last week on 14th March Trinity celebrated International Pi Day with two events hosted by the maths department. The first was a scavenger hunt around school for the first ten digits of Pi, with a ‘Pi-srty breakfast’ for the winners, 8SEC, 11AWA and 12LBE.

After school there was also a Pi recital competition – well done to all those who took part, particularly to the winner Mei in Y8 who memorised Pi to an incredible 117 digits!!! Thank you to the Ms O’Kell and the maths department for organising such a successful day.
