Platt Church Visits
Earlier this month, as part of the Year 7 unit on Christianity in Religious Education, all Year 7 students were given the opportunity to visit Platt Church in Rusholme. The visit included looking at features of the Church and the role and the function of the Church in the local community. Following the trip, the students were asked to feedback about the visit:
- “I was impressed that the building has stayed standing for 173 years.”
- “I liked the designs they used on the stained glass windows.”
- “I enjoyed watching how the Eucharist works and seeing it take place.”
- “The trip to the Church was spectacular.”
