Poetry Competition

Congratulations to Year 7 student, Joseph, who recently won a poetry completion ran by Manchester City Council. Joseph’s winning entry was entitled, ’the weather’ and he was invited to receive a prize from a local councillor, June Hitchin, at Newton Heath Library for winning the competition. Joseph’s prize was a signed copy of the latest book by Jackie Morris, ‘The Lost Words.’ Well done Joseph!
