Remembering HM Queen Elizabeth II

The Trinity community was saddened to hear the news about the Queen last week. Form Time last Friday morning was dedicated to thoughts and a prayer about the Queen. Our Eucharist was led by Revd Azariah France-Williams on that morning and he changed his sermon to reflect the sad news. This week, assemblies were led by Dr Revd Birkinshaw and I, which looked at the life of HM Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of HM King Charles III. At the end of the assembly, students were invited to sing ‘God Save the King’. All students also watched a special Newsround documentary, exploring the life of the UK’s longest serving monarch.

Please note, that as the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II has been declared as a bank holiday, the school will be CLOSED to all students and staff on Monday, 19th September, 2022. School will resume as normal on Tuesday, 20th September, 2022.
