Returning To School
I am delighted to let you know that following the announcement from the Prime Minister earlier this week, we will be returning to face to face teaching from Monday, 8th March, 2021. Parents have a choice of whether or not they would like their child to have a Covid-19 lateral flow test before attending classes on that day. The exact arrangements are being finalised, but it will involve an invitation to some students to receive a test on Friday, 5th March, 2021, with the remainder being done on Monday 8th March, 2021. Information will be sent to parents early next week, but rest assured, all students will be starting back at school at some point on Monday, 8th March, 2021.
There are two things that I require you to purchase in advance of the return to school:
- A supply of face masks – these will be compulsory in corridors and all classroom lessons.
- A bottle of sanitiser, so that every student can maintain excellent personal hygiene.
Final arrangements will be sent to you on Monday, 1st March. We’re looking forward to welcoming you all back!
