RNCM Success
Mrs Madden writes – We are delighted that 8 Trinity students have been awarded places on the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music’s junior programmes which run on Saturdays. RNCM has an amazing array of opportunities for talented young Classical and Pop musicians. Following a rigorous audition process, Prince Y13, Amani Y11, Raj Y10, Prince Y8 and Phoebe Y8 all gained places on the RNCM Young Artist programme which focuses on Popular Music composition, production and performance.
Professor Linda Merrick, Principal, said: ‘We know there is incredible talent right on our doorstep and RNCM Young Artists will provide the very best training, mentorship and music-making opportunities to help them achieve their dreams’.
Ini Y13 (tuba), Vinchy Y11 (oboe) and Joshua Y10 (double bass) have also been successful retaining their places at JRNCM where they have lessons on their principal and second study, composition, conducting, ensemble and academic music coaching. We are so proud that our talented young musicians are flourishing and embracing the incredible opportunities our great city has to offer.
