Ski Trip to Passo Tonale, Italy
During the first week of the Easter holidays, 18 students were fortunate to be able to fly to Italy to either learn or develop their skiing technique in the Italian Alps. The group were blessed with wonderful conditions – the resort had over 40cm of snow in the two days prior to arrival and the blue skies through the week made the conditions ‘perfect’.
During the day, students were in their ski groups for five hours – each with a specific ski instructor who moved them from green runs through to blues, reds and even onto ‘black’ runs – the most challenging of all slopes.
The students had an amazing experience – my thanks go to Mr Naylor (Facilities Manager) and Ms Barrett (Head of PE) for running the trip.
Watch out for the advert for next years trip soon!
