Sporting Update

Our PE department update us on the latest sporting news:
“It was fantastic opportunity and a great experience for our Year 7 athletes at Sports City in their first competition. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Long jump – Gold for Obinna and Rejoice.
  • 200m – Gold for Sahara, Silver for Kiah and Bronze for Kinson and Ollie.
  • 60m – Silver for Amirah and Bronze for Obinna.
  • 200m relay – Gold for the girls’ team.

Two teams represented Trinity in the Under 15s Table Tennis team competition. A great achievement, 1st and 4th place. A special mention for Lois and Olivia who both excelled.
Our Year 10 netball team had fun at the latest competition, winning both their games. Player of the matches went to Dominique for amazing shooting and Mikayla’s defensive work.
In the week before half term, our Under 14 girls’ basketball team travelled to Wolverhampton to play St Peter’s Academy in the English Schools National basketball competition.
It was a superb performance from our girls winning 50 – 8. The MVP (most valuable player) awards went to two Trinity sisters, Irene and Jane!”
