Sporting Update

Mr Bryan tells us all the latest news from the PE department:
“It’s been another busy week of sports fixtures in the PE department.

• In the North West Handball event, our boys won the Under 13s competition (pictured right) and the girls finished 4th. A great achievement from both teams! The boys will now go on to the North competition.
• In girls’ football, our Excel team won the silver plate at the league play offs with some fantastic matches.
• Also in football, our Year 7 girls beat Chorlton South 5 – 2 and our Year 10 girls beat William Hulme 4 – 0 and are both into the semi-finals of the Manchester Cup.
• Our Under 15 students also took part in the dodgeball competition. It was an excellent performance by both teams, with the girls winning bronze medals and the boys finishing 4th.”
