Summer Music Showcase

The Music Department hosted a joyful Summer Showcase event on Tuesday 19th July with over 80 children performing. We were treated to an array of entertaining and uplifting music from Orchestra, Steel Pans, Senior Choir, Gospel Choir, Year 8/9 band and Stage Band. The students showed their dedication by attending rehearsals throughout the exam period and it was wonderful to witness their joy for music-making and their care and support for each other.
On the hottest day ever in the UK, thanks go to the site and catering team for keeping us cool with fantastic air conditioning and ice creams and water for all! And thank you to the families for attending and for their constant support. Congratulations to all our amazing musicians.
