Trinity Charitable Trust Fund

At Trinity, we are very proud of the learning environment and the facilities we provide for your child. We are facing increasing pressures due to rising costs but we still want to continue to maintain a top quality experience for all the children during their time with us. Trinity has always had a trust fund but in recent years we haven’t advertised it as well as we should. This year, we are inviting all parents to make a contribution – similar to that many of you would have given at primary school.

This fund is used to enhance the education provided by the school. It provides additional resources, materials and equipment and also finances extra curricular activities which cannot be completely funded, using our school budget.

Examples of how the fund has and will be used, include; purchase of basic items used by all students in Food Technology, materials for use in Engineering, coach and venue hire for sports, music and drama events and contributions to Activities Week, Arts Week and Year 6 Summer School. Participation in such events provides invaluable experiences for the children.

This donation can take the form of a one-off payment or regular donations; all are equally welcomed. We are suggesting a minimum donation of £25 per family, per year.

We know that not all families can afford to contribute and we assure you that all children are treated equally irrespective of whether or how much their par-ents contribute.

If you would like to make a donation, this can only be made via your child’s ParentPay account. There will be an item entitled ‘Trinity Charitable Trust Fund’ available, each time you log in.

Through Gift Aid, the Fund can also claim the tax paid on donations made by parents who pay income tax. For every pound given, we can reclaim 25p from HMRC. If you are a taxpayer and would like us to claim the gift aid, please complete the form which will be sent alongside the announcement on Class Charts, next week.
