Tutor Trust sessions

Ms Kirkham writes – “Well done to all students who have worked with tutors from Tutor Trust this year. Throughout the year, 138 students have received either Maths or English tuition to help them make additional progress. Attendance at these sessions has been fantastic. Whilst KS3 sessions have taken place during the school day, Year 10 pupils in particular should be congratulated for their commitment to the after-school sessions. Pupils have enjoyed the small-group tutoring, feel that they have made progress and have gained confidence in these subjects. One parent emailed in to say that her son was ‘really enjoying it’ and that it was helping him to ‘develop his thinking skills’. She ended her email by saying ‘thank you again for giving him the chance to experience this beneficial scheme’. As you can see from the image, our pupils have taken the sessions seriously and the tutors have been impressed with their attitude to learning.”
