Urban Regeneration in Manchester – Geography Guest Speaker

“On Thursday, 27th January, Tim Heatley, founding CEO of urban development and regeneration company Capital & Centric, came to speak to our GCSE and A Level geographers about the work he and his company have been doing in regenerating and rebranding some of the different areas of Manchester city centre such as Kampus and Piccadilly East (as seen in the below photo).
It was a very inspiring workshop which helped our students to develop a further understanding of their case study of urban development and change and social inequality in Manchester. It also opened our students’ eyes to some of the different (and lucrative!) career options available to young people with geography qualifications!”.
